Overview

The Beacons Kids Clinic will focus on improving fundamental baseball skills. Each day we will introduce new techniques to improve a players hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, and overall baseball knowledge in a fun and supportive environment. The clinic will be a combination of Little League skills training and game play. The clinic will incorporate many of the same drills used by the UMass Boston Baseball team. Great for players of all skill level.

OUTLINE:

This clinic is designed for high school players who would like the opportunity to perform in front of the Beacons coaching staff.  This allows players an intimate setting to showcase their skill set. Players will be put through various drills along with a position specific skills showcase.  This clinic will be limited to the first 50 players who sign up to insure a quality experience. After the showcase portion the players will break off and work with their specific primary position instructor. There will be also a question and answer session for prospects and parents after the clinic. This clinic is for players who have interest in attending UMass Boston and want to be evaluated first hand by the coaches.
